Scholarships
Sierra Surf Soccer Club has a “need-based” Scholarship Program that helps families cover the costs of registrations, coaching fees, uniforms, tournaments, and miscellaneous expenses. Each year the club budgets a set amount to support the Scholarship Program, but this does not guarantee that all applicants will receive support.
Application Process
Sierra Surf Scholarship Committee, comprised of club Board Members, has set guidelines to make all financial aid decisions. In order for families to qualify, a family must complete an application per player and provide proof of eligibility. Families will be notified by email or phone call of acceptance or denial.
Eligibility
The Scholarship Program is a need-based program that is awarded to families based upon their income. The program is offered to all players. The player must be a full-time student with a GPA of 2.0 or above. Financial aid recipients are expected to perform six (6) hours of volunteer hours to the club.
